Nick Jonason is a managing member of Unified Utility Services, LLC. In this role, he manages all aspects of utility construction, consisting of aerial and underground construction, commercial and residential installations of any utility services needing to be provided.
Around twelve years ago, after a storm hit the East Coast, Nick realized how vital utility construction was for communities. During the recovery period he was a ground hand on an aerial crew for a communications company, there he saw firsthand the impact that was being made. His crew was gifted food and drinks by members of the community as thanks for the work being done. After this experience Nick knew this was the field he wanted to pursue as a career to be able to positively impact communities near and far.
Today, Nick is responsible for a broad scope of the business that he helped build from the ground up. Those responsibilities include, but are not limited to, pricing projects for customers, pre-construction utility locates, managing crews during construction, and putting together post-construction as-builts for customers.
Nick is a family man; in his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter. They enjoy cooking for their church's events, attending sporting events and eating at local restaurants in the greater Charleston area. He is an active member of his hometown community of Goose Creek, SC. Nick volunteers his time coaching youth sports year round and is always looking for new ways to give back to his community.
